Caretta Caretta Beach ( Iztuzu ) DalyanCaretta Caretta Beach is 12 km to Dalyan. Beach begins with a channel beginnig which binds Koycegiz Lake to the sea and goes for 5400 meters . It's possible to go Iztuzu by minibuses. It's a very rare kind of beach which has fresh water at one side and Mediterranean Sea at the other side. Iztuzu Beach begins from the foot of Radar Hill and comes up to Delikada. In this area called Dalyanagzi according to the ebb and tide sometimes fresh water flows Mediterranean Sea. As to the water flow's rate and direction sands near Dalyanagzi change their places continuously. That's why ships can't enter (depth changes very often ) Ships carrying voyagers from Marmaris and Fethiye stops in Delikada and transfers them to the skippers of Dalyan. The length of the beach in Iztuzu has some little differences because of the movement of the sands but it's approximatly 5- 6 km . Sands are in a golden color and very tiny. And the sea is clear like a crystal. Oasis Apart takes the clients to Caretta Caretta "Iztuzu Beach" by riverboats in 30 minutes. |
